CTRL Key not working when Chroma active

Hi, over the last month or so, I’ve had issues with the CTRL key not working on my Cynosa Chroma keyboard.  For example, pressing CTRL-C or CTRL-V just types ‘C’ or ‘V’.  Whenever I stop the Razer Chroma  app, the CTRL key functions normally.  When I press Fn-F9, the CTRL key also works again for a period of time.  Is there a more permanent fix for this, other than no longer running with the Chroma app?  I want to keep using the Chroma app so I can have the keyboard lighting.  Thanks!
