Cynosa V2 - Escape and Tilda keys suddenly unresponsive | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hello,

I bought the Cynosa V2 recently and it was working perfectly fine, but recently I noticed that the Escape and Tilda keys have completely stopped registering inputs on my PC (though the lighting for them still works normally). This has been the case regardless of if Synapse is running or not, and I've tried checking for updates as well as uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers and plugging it into a different USB port, all to no avail. I'm quite confident these are the only two problematic keys, because when I noticed the issue I pressed each one individually to make sure they all worked.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Ensure that your Windows keyboard layout is in English (if you have the US version). Also, try resetting the keyboard through the Razer Synapse 3.0 settings. Try updating your Windows OS and download Intel Driver and Support Assistant to check if there are any available firmware that can be applied to your system. Otherwise, the keys have already failed. Feel free to submit a case to our Support Team or send me a PM should you need additional assistance. I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
