DA V2 X Hyperspeed laser is dead.

So my DA V2 X decided to have a relatively rapid degradation over the past few days until ultimately it has died, more specifically the laser is not outputting any light source (digi cam/phone not picking up a light source).

All other functions work i.e. micro switches and scroll, but the laser is dead.

 

The voltage at the emitter legs is 0.78V, does that mean anything to anyone: under/over voltage, correct?

 

Anyone know the specs or a where I can source one?

    Try to reinstall your mouse’s drivers. You can also update its firmware. If that didn’t do the trick, then shoot me a PM along with your mouse’s serial number so I can validate it and check for other workarounds.
