I'm having an issue with the wireless dongle for my Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro. The mouse used to work perfectly fine wirelessly, but at some point it stopped connecting to the dongle.
When I plug the wireless dongle into my PC, all three lights on the dongle light up solid white, but then they eventually turn off. The mouse itself just blinks white when I move or click it and won't connect wirelessly.
The mouse works normally when I connect it directly to my PC with a cable, so the mouse itself is still functional.
I've already tried:
-
Different USB ports, including USB 2.0 and USB 3.0
-
Checking Device Manager, but nothing seems to appear when I connect/disconnect the dongle
-
Running the Razer firmware updater, but it gets stuck at the step asking me to connect the wireless dongle because it doesn't detect it
-
Reconnecting the dongle using the original Razer cable/adapter that came with the mouse
-
Restarting the PC and reconnecting everything
The dongle used to work normally, so I'm wondering if a firmware/software update caused the mouse and dongle to become unpaired, or if the dongle itself has failed.
Has anyone had this issue with the DeathAdder V4 Pro and managed to get the dongle recognized again or re-pair it with the mouse?
