Dead/Fried Keyboard huntsman elite | Razer Insider

Back in 2020 I originally had a problem with a Razer huntman elite keyboard.  I was working one day and heard a popping sound and then smelled smoke. It became non-responsive. It would not power up when plugged into a usb port. Tried every port possible on the computer and on other computers I had access to.  I went through the RMA process and got an RMA number but unfortunitely. I missed the cutoff date due to me dealing with cancer.  I tried repeatedly to ask about still sending in the keyboard but failed to get a response from my ticket. No one would reply.  It was like I was shut out from service.  I tried for months to get an answer. Nothing. I got so p’d off that I put the keyboard and its original RMA/papers needed into the closet and forgot about it until now.  My question is, because it was still under warranty when I requested the RMA, can I still send in the keyboard for a replacement?  I really would like to get this resolved, I love the keyboard but this whole situation is still very upsetting.  I cannot for the life of me figure out why I was ‘shut out’ of responses on the original RMA/support ticket.  Ever since this happened I feel like I’ll never buy another razer product nor recommend your company’s products to any one else because of how this was handled.. or not handled.   Is there anything that can still be done or should I just live with a very sour taste in my mouth when ever Razer is mentioned?

Been a week and still no response from the Razer Support guys?  Thought I’d get something by now.  I really want to get this resolved.  What do I do with this dead keyboard? I paid just about $250 for this keyboard and this is what I get in return? Come on. I think I deserve better than this.

@Razer.Aero - could you help here?

@FiszPL see what I mean? Thanks for pinging Aero but they seem to just ignore my requests for help.  Guess Razer isn’t so great in support as they think they are.

@FiszPL got anyone else that might be able to help? :)  If I knew how to fix it myself I’d try but I don’t know board level components etc. I really hate to see this board go to the recycler.  I’d rather send it back to Razer for a replacement if only they would respond. lol.

If i’m coming at this the wrong way, or this isn’t the place to ask these questions… please tell me.  I already tried for months via ticket system when this all started but got ignored after the rma cutoff.  What is so hard about getting me another RMA for something that clearly was defective?  I figure i’d try the public route and ask for some support/help in this, maybe get the right person that will help but it seems my pleas have fallen on deaf ears. :(
