DeathADder 2 Mouse Scolling issue

The scroll wheel on my deathadder 2 has stopped working. if i press the mouse button i still get the option to physically move the screen up and down by moving the mouse

 

ive updated firmware

ive uninstalled and reinstalled drivers

Ive tried on another machine

still no joy

 

The mouse feels fine, and this was fine yesterday with no issues, mouse has not been dropped or anything like that.

Is the mouse kaput or is there anything else i can try?

    You can try to spray some compressed air inside to try “clean” the scroll encoder. But it just may be some HW fault with the encoder itself, so only RMA is the only option here.

    Thanks for the reply, tried compressed air but no change, I’ll bite the bullet and go for a new mouse
