Deathadder 2000 dpi problem with synapse 2.0 | Razer Insider

Yeah so I got my first PC a while ago from this guy online. The PC and equipment is good and all, he even threw in this mouse and c920 camera and it's pretty sweet but my mouse is weird. It's a Deathadder and I like it and all but it's dpi can't go between, above or below the 5 preset configured sensitivity stages it came with from 250-2000 dpi. Synapse says it's a "Deathadder 2000" which is weird because I haven't been able to find any other examples of a deathadder only outputting 2000 dpi whether it's an essential or elite. It seems to have come out of a bundle of some kind since it has a bundle number. I googled the bundle number and they have a mouse similar to mine but still you should be able to use more than just the 5 presets, you can edit the presets but they simply transform back into one of the 5 values after saving. you can make them all the same number among the 5 values but it must be one of them. I also don't have the configurations tab so I can't modify liftoff range which sucks. the 5 values must be 250, 500, 1250, 1750, 2000. I can't use my regular dpi of 400 or 800. you can even lower the number of stages but it must be one of the 5 values. I thought the mouse might be a knock off or something but I registered the serial number so it's without a doubt a Razer mouse. Synapse 3 won't even register my mouse as a compatible device meanwhile synapse 2.0 limits my options and neglects to show me a tab, I find it hard to believe that this optic sensor on this mouse is incapable of registering liftoff range. Do you think one of you guys could help me out? I would really appreciate it.
You got an OG DeathAdder with 2000 DPI as max which was released way back in 2007 and it is as you say, the DPI settings are very limited. Unfortunately, there really isn't much to do as this is a product limitation of sorts.
