synapse wont detect deathadder essential, windows reads usb gaming mouse and HID compliant mouse in device manager. I just ordered it from walmart, it still wont detect even though its brand new. I've tried restarting my pc uninstalling it but nothing works it still just wont get detected by synapse. I've done all recommended troubleshooting and trying everyone's suggestions in reddit, YouTube and all over google. still nothing. its in a main usb port also.
+1How it’s detected in Windows device manager? Any screenshot of it?
Try Synapse clean reinstall:
- Uninstall Synapse
- Download & run this tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj to remove any razer drivers/leftovers
- Then restart your PC
- After reboot install Synapse again (you can download the latest Synapse 4: https://www.razer.com/synapse-4 ) and run it as administrator.
I am having similar issues. The mouse does work with the computer when it is plugged in but it does not appear in the Synapse software so that I can change any of the settings.
I also have the Ornata V3 X Keyaboard which connected to the software with no issues.

Was it detected in Synapse before?
If not then post a photo of the mouse bottom (connected to PC) with s/n visible.

I bought from Amazon. So I should get a refund and buy somewhere else? I thought they would have been a fairly safe place to purchase legitimate Razor products.
