Deathadder Hyperspeed v3 - side button not working

Hello,

I would very much appreciate the support with my new Razer mouse - Deathadder v3 Hyperspped.

I purchased it apx 1 month ago, and today one of my side buttons stopped working - “Mouse button 5”.

So far I have tried few things in order to resolve this but unfortunately nothing helped:

Any other ideas I could try before concluding it’s mechanical issue and bringn it to service for repair?

Hi K0ld_W4r,

Thanks for listing the steps you’ve already tried. A few things I’d still like to confirm:

  • Does Mouse Button 5 feel normal physically?
  • Does it fail in all apps or only in certain games?
  • Have you tested the mouse on another PC without Synapse installed?
  • Hs the button still mapped correctly in Synapse?

Please also make sure the Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is connected directly to the USB port and not through a hub. If the issue still persists, please PM me the serial number of the mouse so I can verify the model and check for other possible workarounds. All the best!
