Hi
I’m asking here because I saw that some firmware-related mouse issues were helped/escalated through Razer Insider before.
My Razer DeathAdder V2 suddenly stopped working after I was using Razer Synapse 4. The mouse was working before, but now Windows only makes the USB connect/disconnect sound. It does not work as a mouse, it disappeared from Synapse, and in Windows devices it appears strangely as a drive/device instead of a normal mouse.
What I already tried:
-
Tested it on another computer
-
Tried different USB ports
-
Checked Synapse, but the mouse no longer appears there
-
Contacted Razer Support
-
Sent proof/video of the issue
My support case number is: (removed for security purposes)
Support told me the product is out of warranty, but this does not feel like normal wear or physical damage. I have taken good care of this mouse for years, and it was working normally before this happened. That is why it is very frustrating to see it become a brick after using Razer’s own software. It looks more like a firmware/bootloader issue, because the mouse was working before and then suddenly became detected incorrectly after Synapse 4.
@Razer.sushi.boi, sorry for tagging you, but I saw that you helped other users with similar firmware/RMA cases. Could you please check if this case can be escalated or reviewed for firmware recovery/RMA options?
Thank you very much.
