Deathadder V2 profiles are not available on Linux

My brand-spanking-new Deathadder V2 is working OK on Windows 10. But I need it to work over a KVM switch that gives me access to my Main system, running Kubuntu 21.04, two NASes and a notebook that might be running anything. Or a Raspberry Pi that also may be running whatever I get to install. So it is essential that I have the full capabilities of that mouse on any of these systems. Alas, as soon as I leave the Windows system, then profile switch does not do its job. It seems that the !$@^^! mouse needs a driver to switch profiles. I don't understand why somebody in this day and age cripples a mouse by requiring driver support for a button on that mouse. The mouse supposedly stores the profiles. Why that is so and it is incapable to switch between them on its own, I have no idea. My old Roccat Kone XCTD does that. But its plastic is deteriorating and I need a replacement. For the fun of it, a recent Roccat keyboard also had crippled profile support and had to go back. I'm using a Steelseries board now. Excuse the rant, I found no way to send it to the manufupturer. And maybe somebody does know how to get the Deathadder to do its job. Otherwise it's a deathadder-on-arrival :-(

I understand how disappointing that the mouse is not functioning as expected. However, the mouse is only compatible with Windows operating system, including the Razer Synapse 3.0. You can send a message to our devs as feedback by going to the Razer Synapse main screen or clicking the profile photo at the top-right of the app. I’ll be locking this thread now. Feel free to send me a PM anytime or visit our self-help options should you have other questions or concerns.
