You need to spray encoder a bit with something greasy. But if you still have valid warranty - don’t do it. Just contact Razer Support and try to RMA it.
Well, damn. I just started having this issue as well. I bought my mouse a little more than a year ago (July 21, 2023)
When did you get yours? @TaulPaul have you been able to fix it? I was considering some WD-40
I have the same problem I only had my Death Adder just over 2 months and the squeak is getting worse. Tried compressed air but that did not work. Don’t want to invalidate the warranty so still talking to razer support about it but so far they have not been very helpful.
Last Death Adder was great last a number of years that’s why I bought another.
I have a Razer Huntsman V2 and that also has problems, I have only had that for just over 2 weeks. Again support is not great lots of hoops to jump through and 1 email a day in response if I am lucky.
A product is only as good as its support and the company shows its worth when things go wrong.
Razer so far so bad…………………
Also trying to find a place on the website to post a support ticket good luck on that still cannot find it.
Message from support was:
“Here’s a link to our support page where you can find the ticket submission form: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/warranty-support”
There is not a form on that page logged in or not.
I ended up just giving it away and buying another mouse.
Hello all. I too had the same problem and searched on net and found this video for the wheel noise issue. First i thought its joke but i tried with less power and amazingly its works fine..XD
Try with less power and not too much force at shown in video and apply after 1 month or 2 week if sounds is loud. Not sure its good but this is the only thing i can do to avoid that voice. Try at your own risk and less power
