Hi,
My Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, bought directly from Razer.com in January 2023, has developed a scroll wheel fault: while scrolling in one direction, the page randomly jumps the other way.
I logged the raw input from the mouse while scrolling down only:
Wireless (HyperPolling dongle): 6 of 37 wheel notches were reported as scroll up
Wired (USB cable): 10 of 70 wheel notches were reported as scroll up
None of these events were injected by software, and the fault happens the same way on the cable and on the dongle, so it looks like a failed scroll encoder rather than a driver, Synapse or wireless problem.
I know the mouse is outside the 2-year warranty. Several owners of this model have reported the same fault on this forum, so I would like to ask whether Razer can offer a goodwill replacement or a discount on a new mouse. I can provide the serial number and proof of purchase by private message or through a support ticket.
Thanks.
