Deathadder V3 Wired Suddenly Stops Working | Razer Insider
Skip to main content

Hi! I saw that there was a previous post about this but it was closed and moved to PMs so I’m trying my luck by making a new post.

The situations of mine are similar to theirs where my mouse was working fine so far (I’ve owned it since September of last year) and all of a sudden while I was playing a game it disconnects.

I’ve tried using other USB ports on my PC and reinstalling the mouse drivers as well as Synapse to no avail. It only works when in contact with certain surfaces, for example, having it on my bedsheets allows the mouse to be detected and usable AS LONG as I keep it on the bedsheet, as soon as I lift it off it disconnects shortly afterwards. It unfortunately doesn’t work at all on my mouse pad.

So would the only solution be buying a new mouse?

Hello,

I also have a problem with Deathadder V3 Wired where it just disconnects and reconnects constantly, everything has been tried. Changing Ports/reinstalling/updated firmware/made sure sensor is clean.

Please Support here!

Same Issue here V3 wired and at the same time it disconnects my chroma mousepad also disconnects.

Is there any solution? i have same issue too.

Is there any solution? i have same issue too.

Well, after carefully cleaning the sensor with 99% alc with a ear cleaning tip, it stops reconnecting constantly for me.

2nd Issue is, after this firmware update, the mouse starts with 1000Hz, after system boots up, then i need to re-plug the mouse into the PC for it to start using 8000hz.
It doesnt matter which Razer Synapse is installed and it doesnt matter if I go into razer synapse and change from 8khz to 125 and back again, it seems to change it to 125 but not back to 8k untill i reconnect the mouse. So yeah, at least I can get it to not reconnect again.

Im using deathadder v3 wired for months, and everytime I open my pc, It just doesnt work. I can hear connecting and disconnecting sounds over and over again. I need to replug multiple times for it to work. And sometimes, the mouse will disconnect again if I flicked to hard while playing valorant. Please help.

  • techPruneRUBY228 I've had the same problem as you since I bought my deathadder v3, have you solved it somehow?

I have the same problem

I’m running into the same issue, did anyone find a solution to this?

i also facing the same issue with my deathadder v3 led light keep blinking blue.

I found the problem. The wire is loose at the spot that connects to the mouse. If you play with the wire left and right you will see that it happens.

its been few months since i bought this mouse and i noticed problemb since the 2nd or 3rd i didn’t mind it thinking its probably a software level bug but after touching wire i realized its hardware level problemb what am i supposed to do now?

Un install the razer software, this has been an issue since 2020 according to other posts with similar problems.

I have the same issue and i did remove the software, fixed my problem. then i installed it again and the problem returned.

The software is bugged and Razer is very well aware of this but chooses to do nothing about it. “goes for most versions of their mouse software”

Yup thats whats happening with mine……..

Razer are you gonna warranty this??

Hey Guys, this just happened to mine too, I plugged it in to another computer and it is still not working. I just was using it normally for my work and it just stopped working on its own. Not sure what to do, I think I’ve bought it a year ago, and for it to just stop, its really disappointing

So what i had done is to push along the nylon lines from the usb to the other end to make it tighter around the usb part. It should temporary fix it for awhile, but after sometime you need to do it again. (You can do it the other way around. Pull/pushing from the mouse tip to the other end.)

same thing happened and the issue got worse to the point mine stopped working

Hi guys,

I have the same issue and i solved by uninstalling the driver named deathadder v3 in the device administrator and razer synapse app.

My hipothesis is that windows became crazy and trys to have 2 drivers (deathather v3 and generic mouse) for the same device wich is a very bad idea. I guess if you want to maintain razer synapse and controll over the mouse dpis and more you should uninstall the generic mouse but i don’t try and take my word carefully.

Hope this helps you

Hey guys, i  was facing the same issue and i think this might help.  in Razer center there is a setting called calibration for tracking cut off point. so maybe if we change it to high instead of low it might not cut off. I havent had a chance to test it in game but atleast its not cutting when i lift it side ways to reposition my mouse.

Hope it helps :)
