I purchased a DeathAdder V4 Pro from Amazon last week. The wireless dongle is already malfunctioning:
Issue 1: Dongle stopped responding
Yesterday the dongle shut off completely. All LEDs went dark and wireless connectivity was lost. Unplugging and reconnecting did not help. I used the mouse in wired mode for approximately 5 minutes, then reconnected the dongle, and it started working again.
Issue 2: Polling Rate LED incorrect
Today the polling rate indicator LED got stuck on yellow and will not update when I changed the polling rate in Synapse. The same LED shows other properties correctly (like battery level, DPI Stage), but does not show the right polling rate and its color doesn’t change when I change the polling rate.
The mouse works correctly in all cases. These symptoms suggest a possible hardware defect in the dongle.
Request: If these are known issues, please advise whether a firmware update is planned to address them. If not, I would like a replacement dongle.
