so the - key lights up when i turn my computer on but when the keyboard connects to synapse it just turns off and i cant get it to work, theres no drivers for the deathstalker v2 to reinstall i need help and id like to see if theres anything i can do before getting a replacement. (theres also like weird smudges on some of the keycaps that wont come off and arent from me, this is a new keyboard).

Does the same behavior happen while Synapse 3.0 is closed or disabled? Try resetting the keyboard through the Razer Synapse 3.0 settings and see if that helps.
nope when the software is disabled the minus key on the numpad lights up, i just got a second one and the same thing is happening, ive uninstalled synapse like 4 times, ive wipped my computer of the keyboard drivers and everything, im thinking of factory reseting my pc to see if that does anything.

I see. You can isolate the issue by connecting your keyboard to another computer with or without an installed Razer Synapse 3.0.
