Hello there,

I can’t type on my Deathstalker V2 pro.

LEDs are flashing when i hit the keys, but no letter will appear on my PC. I can’t even type my password to start the PC. First I assumed the keyboard to be in demomode, but ESC+CAPS won’t work either.

I tried different PCs, got new firmware, restarted and updated synapse.

I found a very similar post in the forum, but unfortunately the solution - if there was a solution - wasn’t public.

 

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Does it make any difference when the Razer Synapse software is temporarily disabled? You can also reinstall its drivers by following the steps below:

 

1. Press Windows + S on your device to open the Search bar.
2. Type in “Device Manager” and hit Enter.
3. Go to "Keyboards" or "Human Interface Device".
4. Right-click on the Razer DeathStalker V2 Pro and select Uninstall device.
5. Restart your computer to completely uninstall the drivers.

The drivers will automatically reinstall after your computer restarts. If that didn’t work, then send me a PM along with your keyboard’s serial number so I can check for other workarounds.
