Hi recently my DeathStalker V2 Pro stopped working
OS: Windows 10 (latest)
- pressing keys doesn’t register even when trying to get into BIOS via USB
- pressing num lock or caps lock don’t light up the indicator LED
Things that do sort of work
- RGB is somewhat working Fn+1 to 5
- pressing keys does cause the ripple effect
- volume up and down work, only when synapse is running (mute doesn’t)
- Device manager sees the device and reports it is functioning correctly
- Synapse sees the keyboard but doesn’t seem to be able to change RGB settings
What I have tried:
- Cleaning it
- Different USB port (a few times it came up with Razer bootloader I ran the firmware update and that caused it to then be identified as the keyboard
- Updating firmware to latest on the device
- factory reset in synapse
- Holding ESC and CTRL while plugging in the device
- Using it on another computer (still the same both prior to synapse and after)
- tried connecting via bluetooth instead (couldn’t connect to a previously paired device)
- 2.4GHz mode, I suspect the dongle might not work as nothing happens when I plug it in
What does the pinhole next to the USB-C port for?
