Deathstalker v2 tkl bluetooth issue

So I have a weird issue.  I have two deathstalker v2 pro TKL keyboards, basically identical, both on latest firmware 1.7.0.0

The first keyboard connects to all machines - no problems.

The second keyboard keyboard refuses to connect via bluetooth to a specific machine - but weirdly it does connect via bluetooth to other devices ( a mac mini, a different computer, to an iPad Air)

Any hints anyone?

In more detail:

Keyboard A will connect via

  • usb-C  to computer 1 (with the cable)
  • 2.4Ghz  to computer 1 (with the dongle)
  • bluetooth - to computer 1 running win10 and to computer 2 running win11

Keyboard B will connect via

  • usb-C to computer 2 (with the cable)
  • 2.4Ghz to computer 2 (with the dongle)
  • bluetooth - to computer 1 (win10), computer 3 (macOS), an iPad Air - but NOT to computer 2

On computer 2: Getting keyboard B in pairing mode (holding button 1 at the back for 5 seconds, until key ‘1’ starts blinking) and running the “add bluetooth device” in windows 11,  it will show up. When I click “connect” after a few seconds it will state “try connecting your device again” (each time you try to click to connect it).
Tried turning bluetooth on/off in windows, restarting the bluetooth service, setting the bluetooth service to “start automatic”, rebooting the machine (and then the entire procedure again). No dice…

I have the same problem. The bluetooth has gone crazy. Only the slow blinking appears, and when it syncs with a device, the blinking doesn't stop, and it only works momentarily. After a while, or changing modes or devices, it stops pairing.
It happened to me in firmware version 1.6, and upgrading to 1.7 did not fix it.
In wired mode and 2.4gh it works perfectly.
I appreciate any information.

Thank you very much.

I’m also having the same problem. Tried resetting the keyboard/profile, upgrading firmware, different devices - but bluetooth pairing is basically bricked.

I have the same problem with the BT.  It started a week ago.

In the first 2 minutes i can pair with win11, android, etc, but the BT signal is just blinking (the 1,2,3 numbers), and after the signal is lost, and just keeps blinking…

It is a Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL.

We are at least four of us.

I kindly ask Razer to investigate this incident.

Hi. I was having the same issue until I checked the user guide.

Try holding the ‘1’ or any profile button beside the main power slider button. When I held it for a few seconds, it showed up on my laptop’s BT list.

Thank You, but this is not your case.

The BT issue exists also when I want to pair with Android.

The first 2-3 minutes the BT works, but the led (1) blinks slow constantly. After the BT signal is lost and the led (1,2,3 keys) blinks slowly….

It is not OS related...

I started getting this issue as well a couple days ago. I noticed that the issue popped up when my work computer got updated to Synapse 4 while my personal computer was on Synapse 3. After digging a bit deeper, I noticed that there seemed to be issues sharing the profiles stored on memory between both computers. This is probably linked to the fact that there where changes to how the profiles are configured/stored.

Ultimately, this leads me to believe the issue isn’t hardware based but caused by some sort of corruption to the onboard memory state which doesn’t registered to which device the Bluetooth profile has been connected to.

I am also having this issue after trying all the usual fixes. Keyboard works fine otherwise, but the BT chips they sourced must be crap. I can’t connect to Windows via Bluetooth on two different PCs. Frustrating for Razer for sure.
