Deeply dissapointed

HI all,

So I’ve been wanting a razer blade 14 for a long time, managed to purchase it 1.5 year ago. I must say i love the design the feel and the functionalities of the laptop. Unfortunately last few months i noticed a funny feeling under my touchpad. I remove the back lid of the laptop every 2-3 months to clean the fans and remove excess dust. I hope you would understand my need to keeping it in mint condition. Last back lid open got me into a pretty sad mood. I see the batteries is getting bloated. Its been maybe 3-4 weeks since i noticed the batteries bloated but given the touchpad issues being present for about 2-3 months i would guess it started to happen in that time. Now i don't know what to do. Given the fact this laptop costed as much as it did i am surprised how many people seem to mention the same issue.

I believed its up to them because they overuse and don't check their temps. During my laptops lifespan when i try to play games it does not exceed 2h time frame and the laptop is always positioned on a stand ( only using back plates so the airflow beneath the laptop is clear no active fans to create wrong air currents. From what i hear the warranty last only a year. This is deeply disappointing and i am sure after this laptop dies am done with razer. So at this point and given it still works and i really liked it i am just trying to find out where can i get a replacement battery.

Model no is RZ09-0370 i suppose this is a 2021 model.

Can anybody help?

P.S.

-lol you even have a tag “battery bloating”. how was i so crazy to ignore all the warnings prior to buying.

Hello Vukiija,

I’m here to help. I'm sorry to hear about the battery swelling issues with your Razer Blade 14" (2021). How long was the unit plugged? Did you charge the laptop overnight? How many hours is the unit used per day? It's important for your safety that you refrain from using the laptop until we can resolve the problem. You can also visit this article for your reference.
