I ordered a new Razer Blade 18 which was supposed to arrive in 3 days. I was informed by FedEx that it is on hold in Memphis because a CBP Form 5106 was not filled out by shipper, and the dimensions of the Razer skin box were not included in the shipping paperwork. Until these items are resolved they will hold my laptop in Memphis for up to two weeks then it will be returned to the shipper in Hong Kong. I have since learned Like MANY other Razer customers this is a recurring problem that goes back over 6 years with Razer shipments from Hong Kong. Like many other Razer customers I have learned Razer is unreachable by phone. Despite at least 4 phone calls and messages, all of which the recording says will be returned within an hour, I have received no calls. I opened a support ticket, now have 6 messages to them with copies of all the emails and forms I have received from FedEx that have not been responded to. I spoke to the FedEx manager in Memphis by phone, and he has had no response from Razer at all regarding this shipping hold. I was able to eventually complete the 5 page CBP Form 5106 and submit it via DocuSign. So now my laptop is sitting there waiting for the Razer skin box dimensions, which I and FedEx have been unable to get any response from Razer and their “VIP” service. I am hoping maybe somebody else has had this same issue (sadly) and might know these dimensions so I can submit them myself since Razer has no interest in helping.
