Do I have to use the audio hub for my Razer Thresher Unlimited to work?

I recently upgraded from the threshers to the threshers to the thresher unlimited and I didn't realize that there was this audio hub thing and i cant seem to make my headset connect to my Xbox one without the thing being on

    If you're referring to the Thresher Ultimate, then yes. You have to use the base station as it serves as the transceiver. Please refer to the master guide for the initial setup.

    The optical cable carries audio from your console to the headset while the USB cable delivers power to the base station.
