Do Not Buy From Razer They Are Scammers

Recently spent 4200$ on the new blade 18, had it for about 5-6 months and it doesn’t work anymore. I was getting ready to leave to do some errands when I leaned on the keyboard lightly enough to push the keys down just like you would with your fingers but nothing else. An hour later after I shut down the PC and came back I tried launching the PC and all I saw was a green blinking light on the case it didn’t work anymore .I took it to a local shop for a diagnostic and they said there was no physical damage done to the motherboard, but that the motherboard was defective. So I contacted Razer Support and after some time talking they gave me an RMA since the warranty covers the damage since its a faulty motherboard on their end. A day later I was about to ship it and they send me an email saying I’m not eligible for the warranty anymore claiming “inproper use or miscare of the product” after not even seeing the device or doing a diagnostic on it!! They said it’ll be around 1400$ in repairs. Freaking ridiculous, 4200$ for absolutely nothing. Should I contact a lawyer? Let me know, I think this is absolutely absurd and will never be buying from these scammers again.

That’s odd. I am not here to refute your complaint. Nonetheless, allow me to check what happened to your warranty claim. Allow us to raise this to our Support/RMA Team by sending  Razer.AeroRazer.ZionZedd a ping or reply to my PM, including the case number so we can review your contact history. Thanks for your cooperation. I’ll be locking this thread to divert your conversation privately.
