Docking stations that will power RBS ?

New here and new RBS user looking for some recommendations for a docking station

Goal - I want to be able to seamlessly transition from my work laptop to my RBS using a TB3 cable if possible so I don't have to use the power supply for my RBS.

Current set up

Dell Ultra Sharp 24" U2419HC 24 In USB-C
RBS ( personal)
Lenovo X1 Yoga Gen 3 (work)

Up until recently I was able to use 20gbps thunderbolt running from my monitor into the RBS andX1 without any issues. At some point the display stopped recognizing either laptop and also would not charge my RBS fully as I kept getting a message stating that I needed to the plug in the power supply for optimal performance. I thought it could be the cable so I replaced the TB3 cable I had with a 40gbps TB3 cable and this did not resolve this the issue. I went back to the USB-C cable that came with my display and the display works fine on both laptops but only charges my X1 yoga. I believe this may have been due to a windows update that was installed on both laptops at roughly the same time. I did some search and basically the answers I got were USB-C/Tb3 isn't really as standardized as we would like.

I'm hoping Core X Chroma and video card will work for both but I'm probably waiting for the new line of NVIDIA cards before go that route.
