Does Kiyo Pro work reliably in MS Teams?

Hi everyone,
I would like to buy the Kiyo Pro webcam, but I am a bit put off by the mixed opinions on its compatibility with MS Teams. I want it not only for personal use but also for work, and from what I have read on the internet, for some people, it seems not to be working at all, for some, MS Teams forces it to the lowest possible resolution (like 360p) even though it's set to higher resolution in Windows/Synapse software, or it crashes, etc.
So, if I install Synapse, adjust the settings as needed, disable the preview and let it run in the background, are the changed settings supposed to work in MS Teams (specifically, the Teams desktop app in Windows 11) or does Teams just pick up the values from Windows camera settings?

I have no problem with fiddling with it for personal use on my personal computer, but for my work laptop, I'd like to set it up once and then forget about it.
Currently, I have an old 1080p Genius webcam which works ok in Teams, but I want something better, so I tried Anker Powerconf C200 and Lorgar Rapax and both worked fine in every application except for Teams. Teams forced the resolution to something that looked like 360p even though I had 1080p in Windows settings and no amount of experimenting resolved the problem (except for feeding it through OBS virtual camera, which is not something that I want to do for every work call), so I sent them both back. And now I wonder whether I am likely to run into the same issue with Kiyo Pro. I would appreciate if anyone has an insight into this.
Thanks.

If you’re planning to use it for work, I’d find some other manufacturer…. Seems too risky to break business meetings.

In my case, not only Kiyo Pro disconnects randomly, but in vast majority of cases it causes Teams to freeze. The only solution is killing Teams process and reconnect Kiyo Pro.

Disabling Synapse preview, which is a commonly advised trick, doesn’t help for me, though I’ve seen posts in which users claimed it did help them.

I see, that’s too bad. Well, in the meantime, I’ve ordered it, together with Dell WB3023, and I’ll see which of them I’ll be returning. Or maybe both. Who knows...

I forgot to mention this happens on both the regular Synapse 3 and the new Synapse beta.

Given Razer profile, I believe all what’s needed is to introduce any gamin feature into Teams, and this will trigger Razer to develop a fix 😏

LOL. Yeah, Microsoft should introduce some gaming feature into Teams for people bored at meetings.
