Dolby Atmos EQ not affecting my game

I'm playing Shadowgun Legends on my Razer Phone 2. I open the Dolby Atmos app and choose a "Custom" EQ and adjust it while I'm listening to music, and everything sounds great. I have a lot of extra Bass going, low middle, and not too much on the treble side. But when I launch my game, it's as if the EQ is turned off. I tested this many times, and no matter what I do, the Dolby Atmos EQ settings have no affect on my game, which kind of stinks since the game lacks the bass boost I want to give it. The game just sounds flat and tinny.

How can I get the Dolby Atmos EQ to affect my game's sound?

Is the reason why I can't get the EQ to work with the game because the game is not fully supported by a third party EQ app? Is there any way I can force it to work?

From the research I did before I bought a Razer Phone 2, I read somewhere that Shadowgun Legends is supported by Razer Phone 2, and so far the game seems to be playing great, but when I enable the frames per second to appear on the screen, I normally see the frame rate fluctuate a little higher than 60 frames per second when I'm running the phone at 120Hz.

Also, there's no wallpaper theme offered for Shadowgun Legends, and I wish there was.

Just let me know if it's possible to get the Dolby Atmos EQ to work for Shadowgun Legends. Or explain why it isn't working.

Thanks in advance.
