I have noticed dust under the keys on my Razer Blade 18 laptop. Can somebody tell me the safest way to remove it?

Is it safe to use compressed air to clean under the keys, or do you recommend another method?

Thank you for your help.

Hey there, @bestVoidGamerDIAMOND202!

Thank you for sharing your concern here.

Using compressed air is a safe way to clean under the keys of your Razer Blade 18, but I do not recommend removing the keycaps. Removing the keys can cause damage and will void your warranty as it falls under customer-induced damage.

To safely clean your Razer Blade, you can follow these steps:

  1. Turn off your Razer Blade and unplug the power adapter.
  1. Disconnect all external devices like mice, keyboards, and monitors.
  1. Take a lint-free microfiber cloth and gently but thoroughly wipe the surface of your laptop.
  1. Hold the unit upside down or use compressed air to blow off dust from under the keycaps. Do not remove the keycaps from your Razer Blade.
  1. Clean your laptop screen using a cleaning solution made specifically for monitors.

Important: Never submerge your Razer Blade in any liquid. Doing so will void its warranty.
