I have a Razer USB 4 Dock RC21-0228 connected to a 14-inch Apple Silicon MacBook Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.6.2.
The dock's built-in Gigabit Ethernet intermittently loses physical link after disconnecting/reconnecting the Mac. When this occurs, macOS shows the relevant Ethernet interface as media: none, status: inactive. Restarting macOS and reconnecting the USB4 host cable do not reliably restore it.
Completely disconnecting the dock from the Mac, AC power and all peripherals for approximately 10 seconds, then reconnecting it restores Ethernet immediately.
Is there a firmware update for the RC21-0228, including an unpublished/service firmware, that addresses Ethernet controller lockups? If not, is this a known hardware issue?
