Extend Blackshark V2 cable

What is the best way to extend the cable length? Would a 3.5mm extension cable work? What about a USB extension cable? The provide cable is about 2-3 feet short of what I need. I do want to use the USB sound card.

    That would be feasible. However, this is not recommended. The quality of cable would be a factor. Also, the longer the wires, the more it is prone to get an input delay. You can try bringing your headset there's a local shop in your area where you can test the cable before purchasing it.
