I currently use the built-in microphone on the Razer kiyo pro ultra but I’d like an external microphone to improve my audio for video conferences. I'd strongly prefer to avoid a headset/earbuds/clip-on. I have the capability for USB, or XLR via Scarlett 2i4. I'd just need a cardioid pattern since I'm the only one on my end. I can have speakers behind the microphone so the speaker audio isn't picked up in the microphone- not sure if that's how it could work? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
I use a Yeti Blue and really like it.
I have it on my desk, but it can easily be suspended and placed out of view like many bloggers do.
