When I connect my 4K 144hz external monitor to my Razerblade 17’s HDMI 2.1 port, I can only run the monitor in 4K @ 60hz. If I change it to 120hz in Display Settings and save it, my external monitor loses video and I’m forced to revert the change. The HDMI cable is a high speed cable with ethernet, so the cable isn’t the issue. If I run the external monitor in 1440P, I can then run at 120hz successfully. I have turned off HDR to see if that was an issue, but it doesn’t resolve the issue. Why am I not able to run at 120hz in 4K?

Did you ever resolve this? I have a 2022 Blade 17 with the 3080ti and have same issue. Can only do 4K at 60Hz with full RGB/HDR. The only way to do 4K at 120Hz is to turn off HDR and manually select 4:2:0 chroma subsampling in the Nvidia control panel.

I think Razer lied about the "HDMI 2.1" ports on their Blades; they definitely don't have full 2.1 48Gbps bandwidth.
