F1 key not responding like expected

Hoping this is in the correct section. I have a Cynosa Chroma RZ03 0226. In some games I like to enter console mode by pressing the F1 button. I know it works as the 'help' button in other programs like Word and web browser. For some reason, in games it will not. I press FN F1 and yes, it mutes my volume. But to just press it, it does nothing. Is there something I should otherwise be doing?

    Your keyboard is likely on gaming mode. Press fn+f10 to disable the gaming mode features. Should the problem persists, go to your Synapse > Keyboard > turn off the gaming mode. Let me know how it goes by sending me a PM. Thread locked to curb the conversation to PMs.
