I wasn’t sure how to raise awareness of this, but I wanted to flag this here with RAZER because of the fact that the shipment I received was factory sealed which has implications that before the inventory made it to the Amazon Warehouse, the laptop was switched out for 2 reams of paper.

Here are the details. I purchased a Razor RTX 5090 from Amazon.ca, who was the seller.

The delivery arrived the next day, and upon unboxing from the factory sealed packaging, I became aware there was no laptop in the box, rather two stacks of plain paper had been placed in the box where a laptop should be.

This was April 12th. I filed a police report with the RCMP, case number RM26-6900

I have also contacted Amazon customer service multiple times for a refund. I did receive an RMA to return the shipment, but no refund has been issued as of yet.

I am contacting Razor, considering the shipment was in a seemingly factory sealed box, could mean that your fulfillment pipeline may have some issues worth looking into.

Hello classicWineQUARTZ204,

Thank you for taking the time to report this, and I’m really sorry you’ve had such an alarming experience with this order. Because your purchase was made through Amazon.ca and fulfilled by Amazon, all billing, refunds, and logistics (including warehouse handling) are handled directly by Amazon. Can you confirm if this laptop was purchased from the official Razer Store on Amazon or from another seller on Amazon.ca?

For future purchases, we strongly recommend buying only from Razer authorized stores to avoid issues like this. You can find our authorized resellers and locations here: https://www.razer.com/store-finder. In the meantime, please continue working with Amazon.ca support and request that your case be escalated for a faster resolution. Take care for now.
