Failed to write installer file (Permission denied)

Please help I can’t find a fix to this I have been trying all day. everytime I try to open the razer synapse installer nothing happens, then an error file appears.

I understands you’re having trouble getting Razer Synapse, please perform the troubleshooting steps here to fix Synapse when it crashes or fails to start. If the same issue persists, kindly PM me and confirm a few details below:

  • Are you on Windows 10, Windows 11, or another version?

  • Is it a 64‑bit system?

  • Are you right‑clicking the installer and selecting “Run as administrator”?

  • Have you tried re‑downloading the installer from the official Razer website?

  • When you say an “error file” appears, do you see any error message or error code on screen

  • Are you running any antivirus, firewall, or security software (e.g., Windows Defender, Avast, Malwarebytes, etc.) that might be blocking the installer?

  • If yes, have you tried temporarily disabling it or adding the installer as an exception, then running it again?

  • Have you had Razer Synapse installed on this PC before?

  • If yes, did you fully uninstall it and remove any leftover Razer folders before trying the new install?
