I am writing to report a serious issue regarding counterfeit Razer products being sold on the online retailer eMAG.hu. I recently purchased a product advertised as authentic, but upon receiving and unboxing it, I discovered it is not a genuine Razer product.
- Product Name: Razer Orochi V2 Wireless Gaming Mouse
- Product Link: https://www.emag.hu/razer-orochi-v2-vezetek-nelkuli-gaming-eger-18k-dpi-ultra-konnyu-2-4-ghz-bluetooth-fekete-rz01-03730100-r3g1/pd/DD8YJKMBM/
The following issues were identified with the product:
- Inferior materials and components: The materials and components (e.g., the switches) used in this product are of significantly lower quality compared to an authentic Razer product.
- Non-genuine adapter: The adapter provided in the package is not the same as the official adapter included with authentic Razer products.
- Software incompatibility: The product is not recognized by Razer’s official software.
- Unregistered serial number: The serial number provided on the product is not recognized on Razer’s official website.
- Misleading invoice: The purchase invoice provided by eMAG does not disclose that the product is a counterfeit or replica. This creates a false impression that the product is legitimate.
The product listing on the eMAG website is highly misleading. It includes branding, product descriptions, and images that suggest it is an authentic Razer product. Furthermore, the retailer has completely ignored my attempts to provide feedback or request a resolution, effectively blocking all communication regarding this matter.
This situation is deeply concerning, as it not only tarnishes Razer’s reputation but also misleads and deceives consumers. I kindly request that Razer investigates this matter and takes appropriate action against both the counterfeit product listings and the seller responsible.
