Fan issues -- running on low end games

Hello, I have a razer 15. Recently when I am running pretty low end games the fan starts running very hard and the game starts using enormous amounts of power. Checking the temperature on the GPU it seems to not ever quite hit 60c. I adjusted the nvidia settings to whisper mode which made no difference, and in synapse changed the fan speed to balanced-auto, also without result. After a game like this is closed, the fan seems to run at highrates (and extremely loudly) for a long period afterwards, even though, again, the temperature does not seem to be very high. The specific game (running on the lowest graphics settings) I'm having that issue right now is: https://www.gog.com/game/tainted_grail Specs it says it needs: System: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit Processor: 3.2 GHz Dual Core Processor Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GTX 770 / AMD Radeon R9 290 or better DirectX: 5 GB available space Other: Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system My specs: Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 18362) (18362.19h1_release.190318-1202) System Manufacturer: Razer System Model: Blade BIOS: 01.02 (type: UEFI) Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.2GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q Design Thanks very much for any help.

EDIT: Just now experienced the same fan issue when opening a webpage with a lot of moving ads. Restarted the computer to see if that would help and had the same issue immediatly upon start up, which took a couple of minutes to stop.
