After yesterday's Razer Synapse 4 update and the BlackShark V3 firmware update, spatial audio stopped working. When I switch to it, the sound still remains stereo. Also, when using the dongle, the audio cuts out until I switch to a different output and back again in the Windows 11 sound settings.

Does your dongle work? I updated today and it stopped working. I can't hear anything, but Synapse recognizes it and everything else works, but I can't hear or speak unless it's via Bluetooth or USB.

The dongle works, try switching to a different audio output in Windows and then back again. The sound will come back, but THX Spatial Audio won’t work.

Sorry, I'm from Russia and my English isn't very good. What I mean is, go into the Windows sound settings, change the audio source to any other device except for BlackShark V3 - Game, and then switch it back. The dongle should start working, but the THX will drop out

It's not working for me, thanks anyway.

I waited so long for Razer to add the calibration feature to Synapse. And yesterday they finally added it, and I was so happy — until I updated my headset firmware and realized they had bricked it.

Support recently wrote to me that because I'm from Russia, they won't help me, so I really hope people will complain about the firmware issue and Razer will fix it. I'm counting on this community a lot.

I'm sorry about that

Looks like the update messed with the audio settings. Try reinstalling Synapse, reapplying the firmware, and resetting the headset as default in Windows. Also switch USB ports for the dongle. It’s likely a bug from the latest update, so a fix should come soon.
