Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a Blackshark V2 and was instantly impressed by the sound quality and the potential of 'THX'. I could however not use the Audio Mixer in Synapse 3 to customize my THX Game profiles due to the page being blank and looking like this: https://imgur.com/a/CPnaJy2. I also could not find a solution for my problem and really wanted this great headset to work out for me, so that's why I decided to share this with you all.
I decided to have a look around myself to see if I could fix the problem. I did some digging in the Synapse logs and came across some hints for my case. The logs I viewed in order to find my problem are:
C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse3\\Log\\SynapseService.log
C:\\ProgramData\\Razer\\Synapse3\\Log\\SynapseService_errors.log
I came across lines like this:
SpatialApplicationsDataResolver.Get [msg] Get: System.NullReferenceException: The object reference is not set to an instance of an object.

Below that exception there is a list of all games automatically detected by the Game Manager. The list included a lot of games and extra software in my case, so I decided to scan it for clues that might indicate something is off. I found the below line to be off compared to any other game listed. All other games had ExePaths and Icons you could make sense of, except for GTA V (installed with Epic) in my case. Also when looking at the linked games GTA is the only game that looked to be 'off' because of a missing icon.
Input: GTA V
Output: Game
Type: Custom
ExePath: C:\\9d2d0eb64d5c44529cece33fe2a46482
IconPath:
LogoType: Game
Guid: 828c04d8-ae31-44f6-848b-a1de869a072b
Demo: False
ExeList: 9d2d0eb64d5c44529cece33fe2a46482
So the thing I did next was to look around and see if I could 'uninstall' GTA V from Synapse. This is luckily the case and can be done by going to 'Profiles => Linked Games'. Simply select the linked game and then on it's detail tab press 'Remove Game'. After doing this for my faulty GTA V entry all of Synapse and the Audio Mixer started working as it was supposed to, displaying all games and mixer settings for THX.
Hopefully this post can help out anyone facing a similar kind of problem until there is a fix in place for this software bug.
TL: DR;
When you are not able to use the Audio Mixer and this page appears to be 'blank', look for any game that is 'off' in 'Profiles => Linked Games' (e.g. missing icon etc.). Try removing this game by going to the detail page and see if this restores the mixer functionality.
