For those getting Random Black Screens
Hi All,
For a while I seemed to get random black screens and the laptop would just go to sleep. I seem to have found my cause and it's relatively simple... I was using a magnetic palm rest!
It turns out, the Razer Blade Pro utilises a magnetic switch to determine when the lid is closed and thus turns the laptop screen off and puts it to sleep. So if you put anything magnetic just below the touchpad, it thinks the laptop lid is closed and goes to sleep!
Since moving the magnet away, I haven't had any issues. Hope this helps as I've been seeing quite a few forums about getting random black screens!
