So I minimized out of fortnite for a little bit to see if razer cortex boosted fortnite when I started it, then I went back into fortnite and I suddenly just started having random fps drops and random game freezes, I have looked up alot of ways to fix it but I haven't found any. Please help.

Regarding your issue, please try to disable all FPS-related features in Razer Cortex > LAUNCHER > IN-GAME. If this issue persists, please disable the Auto-Boost in GAME BOOSTER > BOOST.

Wait also how do I fix the razer cortex optimizing the game but then it automatically restores the items by it self

Generally, Razer Cortex will restore the items after you exit the game. Did you mean that Razer Cortex restores the items itself before you exit the game?
