Game lagging when mouse polling rate set to 1000hz or 500hz

i recently got my viper mini and initially it wasn't detected by my device manager nor was it showing up in synapse, so i redownloaded the drivers and now it works fine. However, i cannot play anything on 1000/500hz polling rate for some reason, everytime i move my mouse the fps drops significantly(100 to 10fps). i heard disabling c-states would help fix this problem? but i do not see the option to disable c-states in my bios settings.

    What are your PC specs? Did you've tried to install the newest motherboard/chipset drivers in your OS? Also - have you connected mouse to USB 3.0 port (or above)?
