Ghost Key Inputs on Razer Huntsman V2 (No Macros / Default Settings)

Hello Razer Insider Team,

I am experiencing random ghost key inputs on my Razer Huntsman V2 keyboard.

Here are the details:

  • No macros, no profiles, default settings

  • Ghost keys appear sporadically

  • Example pattern: 2wwaqa22wwwwaawq22

  • Pressing W temporarily stops the ghost inputs

  • Occurs even when logged out of Synapse or with Synapse closed

  • I have tried different USB ports and restarting the PC, but the issue persists

My keyboard is out of warranty, but I would like to know:

  1. If there is any firmware patch available for my model to fix this ghost input issue

  2. Or any clean setup instructions to prevent phantom keys

I'm sorry to hear about the spamming key issue with your Razer Huntsman V2. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this:

1. Clean your keyboard from dirt or debris.

2. Connect the keyboard directly to the computer. Do not use a USB hub, extender, or KVM switch.

3. Get the latest Windows update and Razer Synapse.
