Giving to my Blackwidow Chroma X new life

Hi everyone,

I've had my Glorius BlackWidow X Chroma for almost 7-8 years and I'd like to give it a second life. Some switches led are broken and I want to repair it and get it working like new again.

Looking for advice on:

  • Diagnosis: how to tell if the issue is the switch itself or the PCB underneath
  • Original switches: where to source genuine Razer replacement switches (no clones)
  • Desoldering: best method to remove old switches without damaging the PCB
  • Guides: any existing threads/tutorials on a similar repair for this model

Has anyone here already done this kind of repair on this model? Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance!
