Global shortcuts not saved

The same problem. My global keys have simply disappeared in synapse 4.. I add keys, but they are not saved. And disappear

I sent a request to technical support with a video recording of Synapse 4's incorrect operation. So far, no response has been received.

Same here, except the shortcuts don’t work at all, not in the menu, not in other tabs, not even using administrator mode.

Never mind, just bought Viper V3 Mouse and realized that, even if shortcuts were working, I couldn’t use them without a razer keyboard. This is absolutley freakin stupid. I am returning this mouse.

Same as on video. After seting shortcuts they disapere on changing tab to other and not exist when back to shortcuts. Not working at all imo synapse 3 was way better...

Please share with us here results of communication with the support after you finish squeezing something useful out of them. But I’m afraid they will most likeley be useless - they never helped me with any issues I addressed to them.

BTW I also have Cynosa Chroma v2 (hate the keycaps) and shortcuts work with it.

Hi, I have same issue, I am using razer synapse 4 with, when I added global shortcut, switched from “Global shortcuts” to “Device & Modules” and then back, and shortcut was deleted.

I then described my problem with synapse 4. and sent an email to Razer technical support. Got a response:

Bottom line: I was sent to razer's websites and looked for solutions to my problems there. In short, I was gently rejected. To be honest, I was tired of synapse 4 by this time. I'm back on synapse 3. I'm still following the news. I hope that synapse 4 will be fixed before January.

No support due to security measures?? What?? Ridiculous!

Here I am about the same thing. Especially since the synapse 4 is not stable. Sending to forums to find a solution to their problems is the height of technical support professionalism. (Sarkazm)

Same thing here. Synapse not working proper with “Basilisk V3”, “Black Shark V2 pro” and “Black Widow V3 pro”.  Have enough with razer products...

if i used a shortcut from some otgher program in windows sometimes would detect this and ask if i want to save when traing to leave the global shortcuit page and just keep doing that not actualla save

switching to synapse4-beta the problem is gone

has anybody found a workaround?

How are you able to install Synapse 3 with their obnoxious software?  It gives me a run-around when i’ve tried. 

This update broke the Razer Stream Controller as well.  Synapse 4 made Razer Stream Controller plugins cease to function, so you’re able to control everything except Razer products with it.  LOL 

I would love to have Synapse 3 again if anyone could point me in the right direction for a method of installing it without the installer auto-upgrading me to the latest.   Pretty please.

I haven’t had a lot of problems dealing with Razer support in the past.  It’s very disappointing to see that you’ve been met with the same “gentle rejection.”  I’d rather call it something less charitable though. This is the third support issue in a row that they’ve shrugged at now.  Second one for Synapse v4. It’s a pretty cliche thing to say in a support thread, but i feel pretty resentful about my last few experiences with support.  I can’t say i would go back and not spend lots of money on their stuff because i sincerely like all of their products minus their inept audio-related things but i’ve always though you could level that criticism at any peripheral manufacturer.  The best of gaming headphones are pretty trash, so i haven’t held that against them.   I will probably avoid anything new or experimental though because the simple fact is nobody knows if they’ll even bother to support it two weeks later.  This stream controller thing ticks me off man.  Freakin’ paperweight with RGB.  It’s the only reason i would ever want to use a razer shortcut.  To circumvent the other feature that Synapse 4 broke.   Guess that’s outta the question though.   I hate to let go of the Naga.   It’s a very comfortable mouse shape for my hand.   I should probably teach myself to use something else.    Nobody’s stolen their design yet and made a 30 dollar version.  I don’t think this is the same company that i used to trust.  :\ So i’m looking for a good Naga clone, if anybody knows one.  I don’t care about the buttons, it’s the shape i am hooked on.  I get the ones where you can remove the MMO buttons and just use regular side buttons.    Anyway.   Remember, attachments lead to suffering.  When a company treats you like this, you respond by buying a XNOWAOSII brand Niga Pro V2 on Amazon and kickin’ rocks!  haha

I found a workaround. I've installed synapse 4 beta. It works great there. And the release version is broken.
