Grinding Fan Noise

This suddenly started happening on my Razer Blade 15 Base (2018) (RZ09-02705E76), but the right side fan is making an extremely loud grinding noise while it's spinning. The noise does not let up, even at idle. I tried changing the speed of the fan through Synapse and, although it worked briefly when I made the fan spin at it's fastest speed, that solution is not working any longer. The noise is extremely annoying. I think the fan needs replacing. Anyone run into this issue and resolve it?

I have a much less annoying tick with mine at low speeds. I could hear it if I removed the back cover and pun it with my finger. With something mechanical like that, the only thing you can really do is try to find a replacement (unless your warranty is still valid and you can RMA it in). Best of luck, mate.

Thanks, that is basically my assessment. No quick fix for this fan noise aside from replacing it. I'm very disappointed with Razer's build quality of these expensive laptops. I've had multiple hardware issues with their laptop within a year and a half and their support is extremely lackluster. I'm having to dole out hundreds of dollars to get these issues fixed. I don't think I'll ever be buying Razer laptops ever again.
