I have had this laptop for about 2 years, and since I first got it, it has been fine, but something strange has happened this week.



So 2 days I go I updated Windows before switching off my Blade, then the following day I noticed the GPU had stopped showing it's temperature on the task bar. I went to investigate and found that the GPU had gone from the Device manager. I tried uninstalling drivers and installing the latest one, but it didn't help as it wouldn't let me install.



So I used the Razer recovery option to start a fresh install and the GPU is still not appearing in the Device manager, even if I press show hidden. So, should I presume the GPU has failed? It just seems coincidental that it was fine, I updated and shut down and the following day this happens.
