Hammerhead True Wireless earbud sounds (not through BT) really loud

I recently bought a pair of Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds and I charged them as instructed. When I tried to use them I immediately took them out of my ears because the voice sounded like it was at 70-80% volume while my phone is normally not even near 50%. Is there any way to lower the volume of the system audio/earbud internal audio?
