I’ve been frustrated with my Basilisk V3 Pro and Pro Dock ever since I bought them.
With Synapse3, my profiles would constantly go ‘out of sync’ even though I wasn’t changing anything, the mouse light level kept changing by itself to 33 (default?). I would click on cloud or local profile, and the dates/times of my profiles would flick through multiple entries, as if they’d been edited 20 times.
When the mouse would wake up and I would be dragging something straight away, the mouse would ‘click’ and let go of what I was dragging, with Support asking for videos etc of the problem only for me to find out elsewhere this is normal behaviour (seemed obstructive / unhelpful).
The mouse started randomly quitting whilst connected to the dock (scrolling, clicking, and mouse moving would all stop, the profile button would continue working). So I upgraded to Synapse 4.
Now the issues seem even worse. When the mouse wakes up, the colours set in Chroma don’t restore (the mouse is unlit unless I edit the brightness levels). The program itself seems buggy for multiple monitor setups, because if I click on the icon in the notification bar on my 2nd screen, the menu opens on my 1st screen but partly off the screen.
Now, my custom buttons aren’t working. I tried changing the functions to see if re-saving it would fix it, but it says an error that I need Synapse to set the button to do what I want, but that warning is IN SYNAPSE!!

I went to open a support ticket where I found out that once your warranty expires, you can’t even talk to support. Is it really the case that Razer can break my mouse with buggy software updates, and then refuse to give any support?! I’ve never known something like this before.

I’ve really regretted spending this much money on a Razer product
