Hi, I'm a gamer but not hugely IT technical. I bought a Razer Blade 17 Pro this week and connected it to a 2020 Electriq widescreen monitor that I had been using with my 4 year old CyberPower laptop.
On the old laptop, the screen resolution and image quality of the monitor are amazing, but even after trying evry trick I could find online, the monitor image with my £3,500 Razer laptop is total crap. Fuzzy text, game visuals look like something from the 90s, just so disappointing. A weekend of gaming has turned into a weekend of fruitless IT support thread research with no result.
I have now ordered a USB-C to HDMI cable, as suggested on one forum, but that won't arrive until tomorrow. Hopefully it will help, but why on earth didn't Razer include the extra cables I need in the box, or at least inform me that I would need to have them?
