i also had to swap the headset mode from Bluetooth mode to 2.4hz mode via double tapping the EQ button.

So, the headset has two modes, 2.4Hz mode which uses the dongle and Bluetooth mode which uses Bluetooth. I had it connected via Bluetooth so that connection was taking priority over the 2.4hz mode and causing issues.

  1.  Make sure you have the headset turned on and the dongle wired to your device, as well as having the razer synapse app open.
  2.    The first thing I did is switch the headset to 2.4hz mode by pressing the EQ button twice in quick succession, you should hear it tell you what mode it switches to. (located on the right side of my headset, yours might be elsewhere)
  3. Then I went into the windows Bluetooth panel and removed the device from there. (Click on the windows settings, go to Bluetooth and devices. There should be a big square with the device name labeled in the center. Click on the three dots in the top right of the square and “remove device” )

If you have any more questions I’ll be around for a bit.
